Ceabastian “Bastian” was the runt of a litter of nine. One of the sons of the current family dog. As the smallest of the group, he was chosen to be somewhat named after his dad “Ceagal” He was a fraternal twin (Tango) with a seemingly broken ear and the only one left, so he stayed and became pet #2. As an Akita/Alaskan Shepherd mix, we figured a life expectancy of around 10-12 years. But against all odds at 15 1/2 he was the last of the nine to cross the Rainbow Bridge! As a pet, friend, companion, and protector, we spent many great times together. Eating, walking the yard, and nights spent on the patio enjoying nature were his favorites. He was so loved by many and will be greatly missed. Thank you Ceabastian for taking the long way home. 😔🤎
